Intensive Therapy

Three-Week Customised Intensive Therapy Programs.

Intense Therapy Can Lead to Intense Results

At Strength Recovery Performance (SRP), we deliver targeted Intensive Therapy Programs designed to maximize outcomes for children with cerebral palsy and various neurological conditions. Recognized globally by healthcare professionals and families alike, this evidence-backed approach accelerates physical and developmental progress.

Our expert multidisciplinary team—combining occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech therapy—designs a bespoke 3-week routine tailored precisely to your child’s needs, varying the duration, intensity, and specialized equipment used. Over the course of three weeks, children frequently achieve significant developmental leaps. For instance, a child currently relying on a frame or walker may gain the foundational core strength, balance, and motor planning required to transition to crutches or independent walking.

Paediatric therapy focuses on helping infants, children, and young adults develop the essential motor, cognitive, speech, and functional skills needed for daily life. At SRP, our team works to enhance physical strength, movement control, communication, and independence in a supportive, fun environment.

If you notice your child struggling with motor milestones (like sitting, crawling, or walking), coordination, balance, fine motor skills, speech clarity, or everyday routines, therapy can help. We offer comprehensive initial assessments to pinpoint your child’s unique needs and guide you toward the right therapy plan.
A formal referral from a GP or pediatrician is generally not required to access our private services. However, if you plan to claim funding or rebates through programs such as Medicare or NDIS, a doctor’s referral or specific plan documentation may be needed.
The initial appointment focuses on an in-depth evaluation. Our therapists assess your child’s range of motion, strength, posture, balance, and developmental milestones while discussing your goals as a family. Based on these findings, we create a tailored treatment plan tailored specifically to your child.
Session durations vary based on the specific program, service type, and your child’s individual needs. Typically, standard weekly sessions range from 45 to 60 minutes, while intensive sessions are structured around customizable timeframes.
